KTM's request for Mika Kallio to compete as a wild card in MotoGP ™ in five events of 2018 has been approved. The events are Spain (Jerez), Catalonia, Germany, Austria and Aragon. Teams that compete with manufacturers with concessions may request up to six wild cards, the rest only three. Insurance for work pass holders

For several years, holders of accreditations for work have insurance in case of accidental death when they are, go to or leave the event. As of 2018, that insurance will cover up to € 100,000 in medical or repatriation costs to IRTA, Dorna, FIM and media workers. This coverage includes pre-season tests both inside and outside Europe.

This improvement in the agreement will be assumed by the FIM. (MotoGP)
