Whether driving on the road, on wet surfaces or on rough terrain, the new BMW R 1200 GS offers the driver two driving modes, «Rain» and «Road». The "Rain" mode offers response features that help you get better traction. In «Road» mode it guarantees optimum performance for a spontaneous and linear response on dry roads.

In these versions, the two-cylinder boxer engine with new catalytic converter and updated data according to EU4 emission standards and an unchanged power of 125 hp at 7,750 rpm, as well as a torque of 125 Nm at 6,500 rpm, which provide a Dynamic balance to the driver, as well as smoothness throughout the entire speed range and offer a low center of gravity, as well as more neutral handling.
