Motivated by this positive resonance, with the BMW R nineT Racer and the BMW R nineT Pure, BMW Motorrad now presents two motorcycles that complement the experienceHeritage BMW Motorrad with two new and exciting manifestations: the roadster reduced to the essential and the motorcycle classic and semi-refined sports of the old school. In both cases it is a concept that made a career in the 1960s and 1970s and that still brings beautiful memories to many motorcycle fans.

The BMW R nineT Racer and the BMW R nineT Pure are factory-fitted with the modular multitubular steel chassis already known in the R nineT Scrambler and consisting of three components: front main frame, rear main chassis; as well as detachable chassis for passenger.

The front suspension is a conventional telescopic fork, while in the rear a BMW parallel is used together with a central shock absorber. With cast aluminum wheels with 5 arms in the dimensions 3.5 x 17 ″ forward and 5.5 x 17 ″ rear, with wheels size 120/70 ZR 17 and 180/55 ZR 17, respectively. The 4-piston calipers forward along with a 320 mm diameter floating disc brake, as well as ABS, ensure a safe deceleration. To avoid turning the rear wheel when the asphalt binder is slippery, the ASC option (automatic stability control) is available at the factory. To further emphasize the classic look optionally available wheels with spokes.

BMW R nineT Pure: pure roadster for a classic and dynamic road pleasure

The BMW R nineT Pure represents a classic roadster purist, with a simple and genuine design, reduced to the most essential. The design is based on the mixture of classic and modern aesthetic elements in the motorcycle structure, combined with high-quality details, such as footrests and fork bridges made of forged aluminum and with a clear anodized finish.

The tank and the front dashboard of the BMW R nineT Pure are painted in non-metallic Catalano Gray. In combination with the black for the suspension and the powertrain, this color scheme highlights the pure character of the BMW R nineT Pure as roadster for a classic and dynamic pleasure on any road.

BMW R nineT Racer: classic sports bike feel of the seventies

In non-metallic Lightwhite color, combined with a decoration inspired by the first colors of BMW Motorsport, the BMW R nineT Racer looks particularly light and sporty. The chassis painted in Aluminum Silver prominently shows its architecture in contrast to the black powertrain and highlights the character of the BMW R nineT Racer as an old-school sports bike for a dynamic driving pleasure in winding terrain.
