BMW Motorrad 4-cylinder models
The BMW S 1000 RR supercar and the BMW S 1000 R roadster are characterized by excellent driving, sportiness and a high level of safety.The in-line, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine of the S 1000 RR reaches 199 hp at 13,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 113 Nm at 10,500 rpm; impressive figures, that even with benefits of this level, the DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) series guarantees a significantly greater safety. While the engine of the BMW S 1000 R has a power increase to 165 hp at 11,000 rpm (before 160 hp) and a weight reduction of 2 kg, to achieve 205 kg (DIN) in running conditions.
